Job Description
The Product Analyst works with Product Owners and various other stakeholders for the commercialization of existing or new products. This will include performing a variety of tasks that support the full spectrum of product management life cycle.
The Product Analyst may also be assigned responsibility for primary management and support of products that are deemed of the appropriate size. In this capacity strong oversight and direction for these duties will be conducted by more senior level staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The Product Analyst is to collect, maintain, manage, interpret, and analysis, of data received from internal data and external data sources. Perform research and product documentation for products as requested. Perform processes for products as part of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ensures all deliverables are completed/maintained effectively.
- Evaluates risk and outlines critical product performance constraints. Prioritizes bug fixes and improvements in coordination with the Business Champion and Product Owners and work with BSA managers to outline specific customer data needs.
- Responsible for ensuring component subsystem links work together as a unit and synthesizing feedback of information from sources internal and external. Oversee system down-time needs and coordinating the communication with users and customers.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a High School diploma with experience performing or supporting business and requirements analysis for software solutions within the pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare industries.
- Experience supporting product development
- Experience communicating and managing deliverables from product initiation through to delivery.
- Experience working in a multi-team environment with ability to meet milestones
- Software product development
- Waterfall and agile methodologies: methods, techniques, roles, tools
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Masters Degree
- Experience of supporting a team in developing and improving computerized systems within a pharmaceutical environment and in developing business systems to meet the needs of the organization and the customer.
- Clinical Trials process knowledge
- GXP
- Development of Return on Investment
- Business Analysis Methods
