Trademark Building Development is looking for a talented and motivated Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll create detailed and accurate construction documents, collaborate with design and production teams, and bring innovative residential and light commercial projects to life. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design Directors, estimators, and production teams to develop comprehensive construction plans.
• Create precise construction documents using Chief Architect and other tools, including foundation plans, elevations, roof plans, and wall sections.
• Issue and revise plan sets for schematic design, concept resolution, bidding, permitting, and construction documentation.
• Conduct field surveys of existing spaces to create accurate as-built drawings for remodeling projects.
• Ensure all plans meet building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to each project.
• Provide creative and technical input during design meetings, refining concepts and addressing challenges.
• Stay informed on emerging residential design trends and integrate new ideas into project development.
• Support projects from initial concept to final construction with a focus on quality and detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 4+ years of drafting experience, focusing on residential and light commercial design.
• Proficiency in Chief Architect and SketchUp.
• Familiarity with construction techniques for homes, building codes, and planning regulations.
• Experience working on high-end residential projects with diverse design aesthetics and budget ranges.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
• Portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating drafting proficiency are required.
