You’ll inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams, resource projects, and ensure they meet timelines and budgets. Your role will involve interpreting briefs, preparing proposals, and leading client communication and presentations. You’ll guide teams in creating inventive concepts, performing feasibility assessments, and developing designs into robust solutions using tools like 3D CAD modelling, FEA/CFD simulation, and prototype testing.You’ll also play a strategic role in developing PDD’s engineering design service, contributing to new business development, networking, and representing PDD at events. Your ability to integrate mechanical, structural, and thermo-fluid principles with manufacturing processes will be crucial in delivering high-quality designs that meet regulatory standards.We’re seeking candidates with a 1st or 2:1 master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, and over 10 years of project experience, including consultancy.
