Job Description
An established e-commerce company based in Madrid is seeking a Billing and Invoicing Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Upload all invoices received from suppliers into the company’s accounting system.
- Conduct thorough comparisons between invoices, warehouse stock receptions, and agreed costs.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in quantities, prices, or other relevant information.
- Collect and process monthly invoices for all company services (e.g., utilities, maintenance, subscriptions).
- Accurately enter and maintain billing data within the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly billing reports.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
- More than 2 years of experience in billing or invoicing or similar roles, preferably in an e-commerce company.
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
