Billing and Invoicing Assistant – E-commerce (remote)

Job Description

An established e-commerce company based in Madrid is seeking a Billing and Invoicing Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Upload all invoices received from suppliers into the company’s accounting system.
  • Conduct thorough comparisons between invoices, warehouse stock receptions, and agreed costs.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in quantities, prices, or other relevant information.
  • Collect and process monthly invoices for all company services (e.g., utilities, maintenance, subscriptions).
  • Accurately enter and maintain billing data within the accounting system.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly billing reports.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of experience in billing or invoicing or similar roles, preferably in an e-commerce company.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with accounting software is a plus
