Role Description
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Director, Ecommerce Operations to lead and optimize our operations across data analysis, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, and supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting

- Oversee the design and implementation of data collection processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and operational performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Inventory Management

- Execute strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensuring stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Develop processes to improve inventory turnover rates and reduce obsolescence.
- Monitor and forecast product lifecycles, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing strategies.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Create and implement demand planning models based on historical data, market trends, and business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate sales forecasts and seamless operational execution.
- Logistics & Planning

- Oversee logistics operations, including shipping, fulfillment, and returns, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop strategies to optimize supply chain workflows and reduce lead times.
- Supply Chain Administrative Support

- Manage supply chain documentation and the coordination of shared logistics documentation
- Execute initiatives to automate and streamline administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce role, focusing on heavy data analysis and reporting, inventory management, demand planning/forecasting, supply chain logistics and administration
- Demonstrated data analysis and reporting experience dealing with large, complex data sets, and building reports for senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the ecommerce industry, preferably with experience in Amazon and other key marketplaces
- Strong ability to work independently, but also collaboratively across multiple teams simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast paced environment within the retail/ecommerce space
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to create strong collaborative relationships across various teams, working together to get things done, quickly
