Position Summary

This position plays a central role in the accounting department’s ability to accurately process invoices and maintain records. This position requires strong communication skills to help resolve invoicing issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, interpret, and upload vendor invoices for various company projects
  • Manage and maintain multiple inboxes as well as keep up-to-date records of received emails
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, and occasionally Accounts Receivable teams
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure the accurate processing of invoices
  • Supply appropriate documentation for client invoicing
  • Review and correct any non-compliance within vendor invoices
  • Confirm invoice totals with project managers, and confirm rejections and approvals
  • Confirm statuses of vendor bills
  • Maintain amiable relationships with vendors

Requirements

Experience/Education/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Similar experience in a related position preferred
  • Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
