Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fulfillment & Distribution Director located in Apex, NC. As the Fulfilment & Distribution Director you will lead and oversee our eCommerce fulfillment, B2B distribution, inventory management and contract staffing oversight. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers and consumers receive flawless service. You will be expected to drive continuous improvement in our operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement data-driven Fulfillment and Distribution strategies, using analytics to monitor performance metrics and drive customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Lead all aspects of B2B and D2C fulfillment execution, setting performance goals for fulfillment and service providers. Track and analyze key daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to ensure partners meet data-informed targets.
  • Identify new opportunities for continuous improvement and scalability. Collaborate with the Technology team to build the fulfillment technology roadmap based on customer demand patterns and performance.
  • Align systems, tools, and business processes with company financial objectives and customer-centric goals. Measure success through customer satisfaction and relevant metrics related to operational performance.
  • Partner with colleagues across departments (sales, marketing, production, tech, and finance) to use customer insights and data-centric solutions for decision-making, business growth, and meeting evolving customer needs.
  • Drive continuous process improvements by collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate fulfillment alternatives that improve customer happiness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of operational experience in ecommerce and B2B fulfillment/distribution.
  • 10+ years management experience, leading high growth operations.
  • MS apps proficiency is required. Deep knowledge of ecommerce fulfillment operations and systems at scale, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems (IMS).
  • Shopify marketplace, MS Business Central, Insight Works, Power BI expertise is highly desirable.
  • Experience creating standard operating procedures for ecommerce fulfillment, collaborating with business and 3PL partner teams.
  • Experience in analyzing metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Track record of excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
