Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily clinical operations to ensure the provision of seamless and efficient care.
  • Serve as a role model in patient care, ensuring an exemplary service experience for patients and their families.
  • Supervise clinical functions, control clinical expenses, and uphold superior quality care standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, and referral sources, meeting their needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower your team, facilitating their growth and success in achieving shared objectives.
  • Ensure consistent service quality and compliance with regulatory requirements through strategic planning and execution.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources to support organizational growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, Medicare standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care quality and outcomes.
  • Direct the implementation of process improvements identified through the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiative.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding processes to cultivate a high-performance team and ensure an outstanding experience for new clinicians.
  • Promote leadership principles and contribute to fostering a positive, values-driven workplace culture.

Required Skills

  • Profound understanding of hospice regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Expertise in Medicare Conditions of Participation for Hospice and quality standards in hospice and palliative care.
  • Familiarity with adult education and training methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms such as Zoom and TEAMS.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to effectively facilitate group discussions and manage prioritization of tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining core values, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate and incorporate diverse perspectives into decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
  • Preferred completion of a Leadership Immersion Program (training may be provided if not yet completed).
  • Active professional affiliations are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, or reliable personal transportation required.
