What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and other services
• Handle incoming calls and complete follow-up and referral work queues
• Communicate with patient care teams to ensure efficient care delivery
• Complete patient checkout and schedule follow-up appointments as per physician’s orders
• Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while interacting with patients

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience OR 1 year of experience as a Patient Scheduler I OR 1 year of experience in a contact/call center
• Proficiency in scheduling multiple service lines in a high-call volume environment
• Ability to obtain required signatures and documents from patients
• Experience coordinating the scheduling of services for patients
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work as part of a care team

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Population Management and Chronic Disease Management initiatives
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Previous work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
