What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct clinically based concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records
• Evaluate clinical documentation for quality of care outcomes and reimbursement compliance
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure appropriate clinical documentation of patient care
• Document findings related to inpatient admission criteria and concurrent reviews
• Facilitate effective communication with physicians and hospital management staff

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Medical Graduate, PA, or Nursing Graduate
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
• Knowledge of care delivery documentation systems and medical record documents
• Strong understanding of pathology and physiology of disease processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
