JOB SUMMARY

The Deputy Manager of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Product Development, plays a critical role in overseeing and driving small-scale projects, process improvements, and operational excellence within the EPF CORE processes especially in Contribution Module. Reporting to the Manager, the Deputy Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of processes, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting the development of innovative solutions to enhance product and process efficiency. This role also involves managing stakeholder engagement and providing leadership to a team in achieving organizational objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and Standard Compliance

  • Lead and ensure the implementation of work processes and requirements for small-scale projects or operational enhancements within the Contribution Module.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes and recommend changes to align with organizational standards and objectives.
  • Prepare and update operational documentation such as guidelines, notices, and process flow diagrams to ensure clarity and compliance.

Product and Process Improvement

  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of products and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop proposals and strategies for optimizing Contribution Module processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and monitor changes, ensuring they deliver intended value and efficiency.
  • Track and assess process performance metrics to inform ongoing improvements.

Initiative Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee small-scale projects and process improvement initiatives within the Contribution Module.
  • Act as the project lead, coordinating efforts across stakeholders, including technical teams, business owners, and external parties.
  • Develop and monitor project timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed within scope, time, and budget.
  • Coordinate the preparation and updating of key project documentation, including User Requirements (UR), Functional Specifications (FSD), and operational manuals

Team Development and Budget Management

  • Provide guidance and leadership to team members, ensuring alignment with project and departmental goals.
  • Support the learning and career development of team members through training, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient resource utilization and timely delivery of outputs.

Communication and Training

  • Conduct communication and training programs for internal stakeholders to ensure understanding and adoption of new processes or system updates.
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational queries and provide guidance on issues related to the Contribution Module.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or other related.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the followings:

  1. Process improvement, product management, or business analysis.
  2. Proven experience in leading small-scale projects and driving process optimization initiative
  3. Familiarity with EPF products, Contribution Modules, or similar domains is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of EPF products, Contribution Modules, or similar domains.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Advanced analytical skills for process reviews and strategy formulation.
