Job Description

FanSided is looking to add new contributors to join our team at FanSided.com, our flagship site dedicated to all things sports. Currently, we are looking for content providers with a focus on the following topics:

NFL

NCAA Football

NBA

WNBA

Premier League

MLS

NWSL

FanSided’s Contributor program is a great way for aspiring writers to get experience creating content on sports. We provide you with a first-class platform, and our top-notch editorial team will help with content ideation and give feedback to help grow your audience, voice, and writing skills.

Our contributors have the flexibility to write on the topics they are passionate about while doing so on a schedule that fits their daily lives. You’ll be free to write as often as you wish.

This is an Independent Contractor (non-employee) role. All Contributors are compensated based on the total traffic their articles accrue each calendar month.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • Contributors are asked to write a minimum of one (1) article per calendar month. However, as our contributors have more opportunities to earn the more they write, we encourage them to write as often as they wish.
  • Contributors are asked to claim editorial topics or pitch their own ideas before writing to ensure the pitch fits our content needs and doesn’t overlap with other contributors.
  • Contributors are asked to fully explore their voices as writers. FanSided encourages our contributors to try new things with their writing.
