Field Planning Engineer I

Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Support planning of field activities based on company’s business goals and field operating objectives. Integrate the department planning system with the computerized project management system.
  • Identify resource requirements, target dates and contingencies in coordination with functional departments. Follow up on field in-house project progress and update plans through field in-house project completion.
  • Collect field in-house project information and update the different reports required by management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop field in-house project plans and work schedules, using visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams to convey critical information.
  • Visit company sites and facilities on a regular basis to gather up-to-date information on field in-house projects’ status, goals and KPIs.
  • Ensure preparation of shutdown plans designed to maintain safety while minimizing the downtime of equipment or facilities. Enhance Integrated Field In-House activity schedules in different level using primavera P6 software in line with Drilling Operating Plan and GO’s & KPI’s.
  • Ensure preparations and follow up of Field Budget and company GO’s & KPI’s.F ollow up and ensure timely preparations of field in-house reports including Field GO’s and KPI’s, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Field Highlight Reports, Inspections Worksheet Tracking Register (IWS), Engineering SoW & Tracking Registers, Weekly Progress Report, and Other reports requested by Field Construction & Services Manager

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years experienced in oil and gas operational planning activities.
  • Excellent in command of Primavera P6 and MS office is a must.
  • Preferably with experience both in offshore and onshore operations and construction.
