Job Description
Business Development Managers make up the field-based Almac Clinical Services salesforce and are responsible for identifying new client opportunities and managing business relationships within their allocated territory. Success in this role will be measured by achieving predefined commercial targets, expanding the client base, increasing customer satisfaction scores, and securing long-term contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new client opportunities to meet business development targets.
- Promote company services through calls, conferences, face-to-face meetings, etc.
- Define client requirements and advise customers of technical aspects of clinical trial packaging services.
- Working with internal departments for proposal generation and ensure client needs are understood.
- Ensure presentations, information and systems are up to date
- Other business development activities as assigned by management.
Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree qualification
- Must have proven sales experience; experience within the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry is advantageous
- Experience in business planning, territory or account management and contract preparation
- Proven ability to idenifity and negotiate new client opportunities.
- Ability to speak and write in Japanese to liaise with clients
- Must possess the right to work in Japan via citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work visa.
