Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages the preparation of the monthly bank reconciliation report
• Reviews the monthly schedules of various balance sheet and P&L accounts and analysis of account movements
• Reviews the monthly Journal Voucher accounting entries
• Reviews the monthly trial balance and ensures complete and correct posting of general ledger entries
• Prepares and analyzes the monthly income statement
• Prepares the monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Prepares required quarterly and annual FS disclosures for above accounts (risk disclosures, related party notes, etc.)
• Provides documentary requirements/supports and attends to inquiries from external auditors during interim and annual audits
• Participates in automation projects and updates involving the General Accounting processes (ex. UAT, etc.)
• Prepares summaries and other financial reports as needed (ex. monthly required reports to JG Summit, statistics, etc.)
• Manages the General Accounting staff (supervisors and accounts analysts)
• Coordinates with other departments for reconciliation and clean up of accounts

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science, Major in Accountancy is required
• Minimum of 5 years working experience, at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Must have work experience in an accounting firm.
• Background in airline accounting is a plus
