What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- You must be available to work 2 sleep in’s a week
- Have Senior experience in Support work
- At least a level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care
- Complex confident
A day in the life of a Support Worker
In this role you will support a young adult with autism, learning disabilities and complex behaviours to lead fulfilling and independent lives , this will include:
- Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care – supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
- Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
- Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within their home or the service.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
It’s just me living here, but I still like to have fun! My hobbies include Hose Riding, outdoor activities, Cooking, Sports, Art, Photography and I used to enjoy going to the Gym, I’d like to start this back up again. and a people person. I have a very supportive family who I like to spend time with I enjoy family holidays too. Just going out in the community and about trying new things!

As well all the regular training we have a dedicated behaviour lead within Agincare Enable ensuring that all team members receive the appropriate training to further their experience and knowledge.
This role is likely to require some weekends and 2 sleep in shifts.
