JOB DESCRIPTION for DISPATCH EXECUTIVE

Dispatch Executive responsible for optimizing logistics operations, ensuring timely shipment dispatch, cost-effective route planning, and overseeing end-to-end outbound processes. Manage a team, coordinate shop floor operations, and resolve vendor-related issues. Prioritize efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Efficiently manage both inward and outward logistics operations.

Recognize the critical role of logistics in organizational cost savings.

Align logistics with FC/Warehouse operations based on FC orders and order fulfillment.

Plan economical routes for various types of vehicles.

Dispatch all shipments within specified Merchant Turnaround Time (TAT).

Implement effective route planning for smooth order deliveries.

Minimize logistic costs for orders and ensure cost-effective deliveries.

Oversee the entire outbound operation, managing Primary Day Dispatch (PDD) and 1 Day PDD.

Develop and maintain a Trip Manager system for dispatch management.

Handle the financial transactions of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

Manage returns and Reverse Logistics (RTO) processes.

Conduct manpower planning and ensure optimal utilization of a team consisting of 30-40 casual employees and 4 supervisors.

Supervise various shop floor operations.

Coordinate with relevant departments for new model activities and raw material procurement.

Manage shipping, handling, and storage of components to ensure high-quality items are received and issued to the appropriate department.

Monitor Inbound & Outbound logistics activities.

Resolve vendor-related issues, customer claims, and incoming quality problems with the support of the PQ department.

Perform daily reviews of shop floor management.

Generate Purchase Orders (PO) for the Export/Import of heavy machinery parts.

Manage all types of delivery vehicles and handle associated paperwork.

Coordinate with the production team for the transition of Finished Goods (FG) into raw materials.

Submit daily dispatch reports, order status, and RTO reports.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Prior experience in e-commerce order processing, customer service, or a related field.

Proficiency in using order management software and e-commerce platforms.

Should know the Amazon, Myntra, & Flipkart Dashboards

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Basic understanding of inventory management processes.

Familiarity with shipping and logistics procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Knowledge of unicommerce, nimbus, picker, ship rocket, D2C Brands working on own website, online business is a plus point.
