Job Description

Purpose of the Role

This role will be accountable for market research survey and responsible for providing accurate and timely industry data in to order to create world class products and services keeping in mind business policies and government / statutory norms. It also needs to Provide consumer and industry insights based on primary, and secondary research to facilitate decision making in the organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning and Execution: Plan and Hire Marketing Research agencies as per set processes Set and execute criteria for the Market Research plan and accordingly brief the agencies Co-ordination with all the concerned stakeholders for their inputs for end-to-end market research execution Understand requirements for Market Research and provide assistance in designing the research structure. Evaluate the analysis provided by the agencies and present the data to the stakeholders. Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure projects are completed on time Adhere to market research budget by optimising on market research approach and negotiation with external agencies
  • Data Collation and Maintenance: Coordinate with multiple entities such as SIAM, internal and external agencies, competition etc. to share and receive sales, industry data across all PV segments on a monthly basis Prepare and publish on monthly basis comprehensive flash reports such as CV cumulative market share & various segment trends. Collaborate with analytics team on various projects Share data with SIAM on monthly and quarterly basis Develop notes and presentations for senior management on relevant topics by leveraging secondary research
  • Relationship Management: Building relationships of trust with both buyers and vendors in the industry Persuade vendors to share information on their future strategies and encourage buyers to share their views and preferences on products and suppliers.
  • People Management: Establish strategy and best practices for people to ensure their aspirations are met with the overall business objectives. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education B. Tech with MBA in Marketing.
  • Relevant Experience : 10 years
  • Experience in Market research tools and techniques excellent statistical understanding and consumer insights & B2B sales
