Job Description
- Deeply understand EPD and EPD China long term strategy, EPD China business, local market and competition environment.
- Proactively search, identify and screening licensing in, merge & acquisition opportunities according to strategic request.
- Lead commercial assessment of potential opportunities (eg. Attractiveness, strategic fit, portfolio review, valuation, due diligence and other key issues)
Lead or co-lead agreement development and negotiation
- Lead or co-lead making potential transaction proposals to senior leadership team for decision.
- Play key role of final agreement development and negotiation , and ensure implementation of adequate checks and balances during deal execution process.
- Ensure the adherence to regulations, corporate governance, policies and procedures.
Develop external relationships for collaboration opportunities Develop and maintain effective external relationships, which can influence the success rate of obtaining collaboration opportunity.
8.requirements
Experiences:
Strong (8+ years) professional experience in multinational companies, ideally Pharma industry background, or at least experience in working with healthcare companies. Proven track record of successfully closing licensing in, merge and acquisition transactions. Must be able to analyze financial data as well as industry data related to sales, market share, price/volume, call activity, etc. In touch with broader issues (market access, regulatory, macro economy) associated with pharma industry in China.
