Medical Records Clerk Shifts: Full-time Mon-Fri Flexible Hours!!!

Our long-term care skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Medical Records Clerk. As the Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for compiling, processing and accurately accounting for all medical records on each individual resident. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for providing compassionate care to the elderly population.

Medical Records Clerk Key Duties

  • Protect the security of medical records to ensure confidentiality is maintained. Verify accuracy and accessibility of files.
  • Maintain electronic health records database.
  • Maintain data on patient safety, patterns of disease, and disease treatment outcomes.
  • Releasing necessary information to people and agencies according to regulations.
  • Auditing and thinning all medical charts.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Medical Records Clerk Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years long-term care skilled nursing, hospital, or healthcare experience.
  • Medical terminology experience.
  • Solid organizational, communication, and follow up skills.
  • Basic computer skills Technologically savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office including Word and excel.
