Designation-Manager – Process Excellence (Procurement)
Location-HO
Job Purpose- : Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for the end-to-end P2P process, including sourcing, procurement, supplier management, contract management, and relevant warehouse operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Implementation: Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for the end-to-end P2P process, including sourcing, procurement, supplier management, contract management, and relevant warehouse operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging process excellence methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Vendor Governance: Design and implement a comprehensive vendor governance model, including vendor qualification, performance evaluation, risk assessment, and supplier relationship management.
- Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and performance metrics. Generate insights to inform process improvements, vendor performance evaluation, and decision-making.
- KPI Development: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier on-time delivery, quality, and compliance.
- Digital Procurement: Drive the adoption of digital procurement technologies and tools to automate processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data visibility. Lead Procurement module in SAP transition from ECC to HANNA.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, IT) to ensure alignment and effective process execution.
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to support process implementation, vendor governance model adoption, KPI tracking, and digital transformation initiatives.
- System Utilization: Ensure effective utilization of procurement systems and tools to support process efficiency, compliance, and vendor management
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
Experience: 5 to 10Yrs
Skills:
- 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing SOPs and vendor governance models in a complex procurement environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes in the manufacturing industry, preferably chemicals
- Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, performance metrics, and digital procurement technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Skills:
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement automation tools (e.g., e-procurement platforms)
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
