Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing and agreements with suppliers to secure optimal deals for construction materials.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the quality and timely delivery of products.
- Assist in the setup of new construction projects.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise with suppliers or materials.
- Establish pricing and costs for project estimates.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and utilizing MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Capable of occasional travel within Houston and other Texas markets.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, operations, or estimating is preferred.
