Job Description

The Store Person in Estates Department is responsible for ensuring the efficient receiving, inspecting, handling and storing of all supplied products and materials in a safe, secure and organised manner ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. Duties include maintaining accurate inventory records, issuing parts / materials for the jobs allocated to engineers, monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely reordering of supplies when needed.

To work as part of a team responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective total supply chain management, receipt, checking, storage and distribution service to engineers and estates department. In addition, the post requires the individual to perform a range of administrative duties, utilise IT systems, liaise with external suppliers and maintain effective relationships via email or telephone.
