The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Leading and executing sourcing strategies to attain targets.
  • Directing and overseeing the organisation’s purchasing functions.
  • Negotiating large purchase contracts and ensuring best terms and conditions.
  • Developing policies related to procurement of goods and services.
  • Analysing categories of spend to determine potential opportunities regarding cost optimisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with commercial / technical requirements.
  • Coaching, motivating and developing team members and ensuring high operational standards.
  • Providing leadership, direction and strategy with respect to Inventory Management.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and regularly monitoring key aspects of supplier performance.
  • Improving overall inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting achieved by ensuring best practice process and procedures are in place.
  • Monitoring all aspects of inventory flows and process and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and other operations teams to plan for items/material availability.
  • Working closely with Purchasing and Warehouse/Logistics departments to update delivery schedule and ensure on-time ordering, receipt, and delivery of raw materials shipments.

Ideal Profile

  • Must have relevant years experience ideally Procurement/Inventory/Store Keeping Field within Hospitality Industry.
  • Must be a strong team player who can manage multiple tasks
  • Has Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
