The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Leading and executing sourcing strategies to attain targets.
- Directing and overseeing the organisation’s purchasing functions.
- Negotiating large purchase contracts and ensuring best terms and conditions.
- Developing policies related to procurement of goods and services.
- Analysing categories of spend to determine potential opportunities regarding cost optimisation.
- Ensuring compliance with commercial / technical requirements.
- Coaching, motivating and developing team members and ensuring high operational standards.
- Providing leadership, direction and strategy with respect to Inventory Management.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and regularly monitoring key aspects of supplier performance.
- Improving overall inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting achieved by ensuring best practice process and procedures are in place.
- Monitoring all aspects of inventory flows and process and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and other operations teams to plan for items/material availability.
- Working closely with Purchasing and Warehouse/Logistics departments to update delivery schedule and ensure on-time ordering, receipt, and delivery of raw materials shipments.
Ideal Profile
- Must have relevant years experience ideally Procurement/Inventory/Store Keeping Field within Hospitality Industry.
- Must be a strong team player who can manage multiple tasks
- Has Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
