Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-orientated Marketing & Business Development Executive to support the sales function of our growing tech scale-up. This role is critical in providing administrative and operational support to underpin the sales strategy, enabling the CEO and wider team to focus on client relationships and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a fast-paced tech scale-up environment with a high-value, low-volume client model.
You will play an essential part in mapping potential connections, keeping our CRM systems up to date, and assisting in creating content that highlights the value we bring to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Mapping and Nurturing:
- Research and document key individuals and organisations that form our target market.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate and detailed information about contacts and their roles.
- Assist in developing strategies to build relationships and generate opportunities.
- Support the selection, planning, and coordination of events attended by senior leaders to expand the ecosystem network.
- Track attendance and follow-ups from events, ensuring outcomes are logged and acted upon.
Content and Messaging:
- Help maintain our online presence, ensuring it’s engaging and reflects our brand values.
- Support the creation of content, such as success stories and case studies, to showcase our impact.
Relationship Building:
- Support the team in identifying and nurturing connections with key individuals.
- Communicate confidently and build rapport with potential advisors, partners, and other stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with organising and tracking activities related to ecosystem marketing.
Provide regular updates to the team on progress and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Experience:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in basic CRM tools or a willingness to learn.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with marketing, sales, or business development is a bonus but not essential.
- Interest in B2B software sales, retail, or e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
