Role Overview
As a Graduate Artworker/Junior Graphic Designer, you will play an integral role in executing visual assets across multiple channels including Wholesale, D2C (Direct to Consumer), Co-branding, Product, and Social Media. Working closely with the Mid-weight Graphic Designer, you will support in the creation and delivery of artwork, ensuring consistency with the Chilly’s brand guidelines. This role is an excellent opportunity to build your design skills, gain hands-on experience, and develop a deep understanding of our brand and target customer.
- Qualification : A relevant degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Artworking, or a similar creative field (or equivalent experience).
- Design Skills : Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- Software Proficiency : High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software.
- Attention to Detail : An eye for detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality designs.
- Brand Awareness : Ability to quickly adapt to the Chilly’s brand style and guidelines, and produce consistent designs that resonate with our target audience.
- Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, showing good communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
- Proactive : Demonstrates initiative, taking ownership of tasks and actively seeking opportunities to contribute.
- Time Management : Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Artworking Support : Assist in the production of artwork across all channels, ensuring the design is aligned with the Chilly’s brand and meets specific channel requirements. This includes preparing files for print, digital use, and social media.
- Brand Consistency : Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and are consistent across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Design Support : Collaborate with the Mid-weight Graphic Designer and marketing team to assist on design projects.
- Attention to Detail : Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all artwork, ensuring that designs are pixel-perfect, on-brand, and aligned with the creative direction.
- Learning & Development : Continuously develop your design skills and understanding of the brand, staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (marketing, product, operations and commercial teams) to ensure designs align with overall business goals and messaging.
- Deadline Management : Work efficiently to meet deadlines and contribute to the smooth delivery of design assets within a fast-paced environment.
- Quality Control : Ensure the highest quality of artwork is produced at all times, with a strong emphasis on clarity, consistency, and the Chilly’s brand aesthetic.
- Creative Input : Show initiative by offering creative ideas and solutions, and contribute positively to brainstorming and design sessions.
