Sr. Manager of National Sales – MX

The Sr. National Sales Manager will establish and maintain business relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met. The Sr. National Sales Manager will also be responsible for generating proactive action plans that increase brand awareness of Niagara’s products in the retail markets.

Role Responsibilities And Scope

  • Achieve sales performance goals with specific set of accounts (cases and revenue)
  • Work closely with national account director on top 5 opportunities and call on all other account potentials across all channels
  • Manage startup process with assistance from region specific Sales Development Manager
  • Drive case and revenue organic customer growth across regional accounts managed
  • Quarterly business reviews with customer category management teams.
  • Bi-annual business reviews with Sales Development Manager and customer category management
  • Causal marketing, cross-promotional, and other annual program development
  • Manage all account specific trade funds and marketing accruals
  • Define account specific broker expectations and manage annual review process
  • Relationship development and retention of 90% of accounts (based on revenue)
  • Attend all store openings, large-scale charity events, and other relevant customer events with accounts managed
  • Facilitate one annual plant tour and/or entertainment event with accounts managed
  • Goal to develop close personal relationships with customers at Category Management level

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in a FMCG company only.
  • Experience in full supply chain management.
  • Experience working with retail customers. (SAMS or Walmart is a plus).
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced English.
  • Availability to travel.
