Where you’ll be working:

We work with NHS trusts covering South West England and Central England providing reablement Support to people in their own homes.

We have projects in the following locations:

Worcester, Dorchester, Bournemouth, Poole, Torbay and Exeter.

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Over the age of 21 (Due to the rules set by our car hire providers)
  • You must have a full UK driving licence , and be willing to drive within the UK
  • 6 Months Care Experience in the UK
  • Flexibility to relocate to different locations when required
  • A positive, professional & empathetic approach

The role of NHS project Care Assistant

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity. You will be working alongside a variety of NHS trusts whilst supporting people with reablement after leaving a hospital setting. This is a community-based role where no two days are the same.

You will be supporting clients with a range of daily activities including

  • Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care- supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks -light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
  • Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities
