Job Description
As Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of the continued success and growth at the Albert Roger Group. Your role will allow you to take on responsibility for driving sales and growth for key customers across Southern Europe. It is a hybrid between the development of new businesses From lead generation, customer meetings, negotiating and closing deals with existing retailers to increase current orders, as well as launching and managing new brands. You’ll work with exciting brands as well as leading retail partners across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop customer relationships, ensuring you have a complete understanding of the customer’s business and their needs.
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers to deliver excellent service, supporting your core functional activities.
- Identify and develop new sales to meet assigned revenue goals by finding leads, making appointments, and attending customer meetings.
- Develop relevant relationships with customers and the industry to elevate business growth.
- Manage lead/campaign forecasting and execution.
- Maintain customer data through our systems, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
- Be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the sales and marketing business strategy.
- Market mapping to identify key customer requirements.
- Ensure that all commercial aspects of the sale transaction are in the best interest of the company.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximize the footprint and retention of existing customers.
- Work closely with the Marketing team at the base in order to foster innovation and adapt our strategy to the needs of the country and the client.
Skills And Experience
- Winning experience in Sales/Business Development with key retailers in the grocery channel.
- Experience within a non-food category, FMCG, being advantageous beauty/personal care/hair care.
- You’ll be an enthusiastic and consultative business developer with the ability to present convincingly to decision-makers.
- You must be proactive with excellent negotiation and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- You need to be goal-focused with the ability to self-manage, build an active portfolio, and build effective customer relationships.
