Schedule

Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm

Fridays 8am-3pm

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Schedule all MOHS, SDS’s, Standards, EDC’s, etc. and mail pre-op instructions along with info sheet when applicable
  • Schedule all delayed repairs
  • Maintain WBH, LAH, MSD Nurse inbox
  • Review surgical schedules daily for accuracy
  • Call all benign and margins clear pathology
  • Type all LAH path letters and mail out any positive letter with path, deliver benign
  • Maintain Melanoma MIPS Spreadsheet
  • Complete home health referral paperwork as needed.
  • Create/document all certified letters in path log
  • Update electronic pathology log daily with scheduled procedures and certified letters that are mailed out. Add in all diagnoses
  • Make daily MOHS patient listings and complete outbound referrals for LAH, WBH and MSD cases
  • Call all melanomas within two days of provider sign off and notifying patient
  • Call all other NMSC within 4 days of provider sign off and notifying patient
  • Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience. Must be able to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly.
  • Must possess excellent leadership, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, board, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
