The mission of the department is Safeguard and Improve CELINE.
As INTERNAL AUDITOR based in Milan, you will be involved in the Industrial Suppliers Risk Assessments, ESG Audits onsite (mainly in the North and Central Italy) and initiatives to improve our Suppliers’ ESG maturity monitoring and support to improve across the industrial divisions (Ready to Wear, Leather Goods and Accessories, Shoes). You will be reporting to the INDUSTRIAL RISK & INTERNAL AUDIT Senior Manager, working in a team which includes 3 CSR and Audit Coordinators based in the Industrial divisions’ headquarters (based in Padova, Florence and Paris).
You will be working and support in coordinating and monitoring the quality of the audit done from a team of External Auditors working for the function and for the division.
This experience offers the chance to contribute to improve risk & audit practices within Celine’s industrial division, drive continuous improvement of processes and supply chain maturity (including ESG), provide regular updates to stakeholders and management, collaborate within the LVMH group, and lead an external audit team for supplier audits.
This opportunity involves joining a global audit department, interacting with different international stakeholders, supporting in developing a new function and practice, learning the operations of a successful luxury fashion house, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Job Responsibilities
YOUR IMPACT
This role focuses on industrial suppliers’ risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement.
External Suppliers Focus:
- Auditing:Conduct on-site audits (up to 50% of the time) of external suppliers, focusing on social/labor practices and subcontracting, to ensure compliance and mitigate reputational risks. Provide support and guidance to suppliers for improvement.
- Risk Management:Support in the development and implement a supplier risk management strategy, including audits, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Reporting:Support in delivering regular reports and updates to internal stakeholders and the Industrial Risk & Internal Audit Director, including KPIs, trends, and recommendations. Maintain a live dashboard of audit progress.
- Relationship Management:Support in managing the relationships with external audit firms, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Supplier Development:Develop and implement initiatives to help suppliers improve their ESG performance.
- Group Alignment:Adhere to LVMH group guidelines and reporting requirements.
Industrial Operations Focus:
- Audit Planning & Execution:Develop and execute audit plans based on HQ and Group priorities, including follow-ups, using group methodologies in coordination with External Auditors
- Risk Assessment:Support in regularly update of the industrial operations risk assessment using the group model and COSO framework.
- Group Alignment:Follow LVMH group guidelines, reporting requirements, and support group audits.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in risk management, auditing, and supplier relationship management. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential.
Profile
KEYS FOR SUCCESS Education: A master’s degree in economics or engineering is required, or equivalent Experience: minimum of 6-8 years of relevant progressive experience External Audit Firms (ideally in “Big Four”) capacity in dealing with legal sensitive aspects is a plus luxury/fashion business is a plus Attitude: Key qualities for this role include humility, positivity, practicality, curiosity, a supportive nature, and a strong social and environmental sensibility. Competencies: Expertise:Solid understanding of external fashion production (Leather Goods, Ready to Wear, Accessories etc.) risks, Environment Social Governance compliance, proficiency in audit/risk assessment methodologies. Organizational Skills:Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Empathy and kind approach at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Teamwork:Proven abilities of team play ad make things happen in experience working cross-functional teams. Technical Skills:Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint); data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus. Travel:Ability to travel.
