- Â Â Â Reviewing and providing feedback on private development plans.
- Â Â Â Assisting the public with engineering and development-related inquiries.
- Â Â Â Managing permit intake procedures and collaborating with engineering technicians to assign work.
- Â Â Â Supporting the capital improvements team with permit coordination.
- Â Â Â Conducting limited construction inspections in the absence of engineering technicians.
- Â Â Collaborating with the principal engineer to streamline and refine the permitting process

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:Â
Qualifications
Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities, to perform the essential functions of the position, may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, mathematics, or related field, and
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in paraprofessional civil engineering, landscape architecture (or related field), and project management/administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training preferred.

 Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) General Hours are between 7:00-6:00 p.m. Remote work opportunity up to 2 days per week. This is dependent on the need of the department.

Compensation for Project Coordinator:Â The hourly range for this overtime eligible position is $35.81-$47.99 per hour. The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate’s related experience and education in accordance with the City’s pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $43.53 per hour.
