We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights. This role will play a critical part in collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for business improvement, utilizing data and technology to drive decisions, and supporting the development of solutions that align with Middleby’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across the organization.
- Develop recommendations for business improvements based on analysis of data and business needs.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies.
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to create data models and reporting structures that support business analytics and decision-making.
- Assist in the development of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business leaders.
- Document business processes, workflows, and functional requirements for system enhancements and new initiatives.
- Ensure all business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications for development teams.
- Support the development of test plans and ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Identify and prioritize business areas where technology or data can be leveraged to improve processes and outcomes.
- Assist in the development of change management plans to ensure smooth transitions during process or technology changes.
- Track and measure the success of implemented changes to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related domain.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and solving business problems through technology and process improvements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience with business analysis software such as Microsoft Visio and Balsamiq.
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA or MS Project.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of business processes in Service, Manufacturing, Supply chain, or related domains.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
