Stone Ridge is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management to begin on July 1, 2025.

Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, a member of the international Network of Sacred Heart Schools, is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls, Grades 1-12, with a co-educational Early Childhood Program, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten in Bethesda, Maryland. With over 750 students, and rooted in the Goals of Sacred Heart education, Stone Ridge inspires young women to lead and serve, through lives of purpose that integrate faith, intellect, community, social action, and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.

The Director Of Enrollment Management

• Represents and embraces the School’s Sacred Heart mission identity.
• Provides leadership for and manages all aspects of the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment process.
• Works with the Admissions Team to prepare and maintain statistics regarding geographical distribution of students, enrollment, and attrition.
• Analyzes statistics for the Administrative Team, faculty, and Board of Trustees, collaborating with appropriate stakeholders on strategic planning around enrollment trends and goals.
• Coordinates all re-enrollment and enrollment activity, including the planning of special events involving prospective students and families, with constant monitoring of attrition and retention.
• Works with other members of the Administrative Team to organize specific retention efforts at key grade levels and meets or exceeds enrollment goals for all target recruitment areas.
• Builds relationships and communicates with possible feeder schools, educational consultants, and other individuals supporting families in their school placement.
• Reports to and collaborates with the Head of School.

The Director Of Enrollment Management Will

• Serve as a member of admissions committees.
• Convene and facilitate the work of the retention committee.
• Support the financial aid committee to evaluate and execute financial aid decisions on applicant files.
• Foster relationships with outside institutions or groups with the aim of attracting mission qualified students to Stone Ridge.
• Serve on the Administrative Team and work closely with other school leaders, led by the Head of School, to implement the School’s strategic initiatives, manage the budget, and develop policies and calendar.

The Desired Candidate Will Have

• Prior experience with leadership in a Catholic school and/or knowledge of the Catholic community, the Archdiocese of Washington, and Sacred Heart identity.
• Demonstrated understanding of the independent school world in the surrounding region.
• Demonstrated understanding of school organizations and commitment to giving life to the School’s mission, including our values around diversity, equity and inclusion; demonstrated cultural competence.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; Interacts with various groups with a welcoming and helpful nature and positive demeanor.
• Demonstrated success and tenacity in sales/marketing.
• Significant experience with an enrollment management system and other technologies (e.g. Google Suite, Ravenna, Veracross, and/or Blackbaud).
• The desire to work as part of a team in a highly collaborative environment.
• 5-10 years of admissions or related leadership experience in a college, independent, and/or Catholic school setting.
• Supervisory or management experience with skills in building a team, particularly among people with related but separate responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.

The salary range for this position is $135,000-$155,000, depending on experience. Stone Ridge provides generous benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan and sick and vacation time as well as holiday time throughout the year.
