Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Pricing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning and customer satisfaction.
Main Accountabilities
- Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
- Establish and build strong rapport with Shipping lines, Co-Loaders, Agents
- Ensure updating pricing database in timely and regular manners
- Ensure getting the best competitive rates
- Prepare weekly analysis / reports so the management can have clear insights on the business
- Provide prompt, accurate and complete quotations in response to customers & internal team members
- File rates and organize company information for tender processes, RFI’s and RFP/RFQ’s
- Participate in the development and management of pricing related processes and tools
- Evaluate & analyze the response of the Shipping Lines / Co-Loaders / Agents to our RFQs on monthly basis
- Support team members in handling & closing complex deals ensuring company profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related filed
- 8+ years in pricing in the freight forwarding sector
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent understanding of market trends
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
