Job Description

Magellan Aerospace (Tumkur) Private Limited is having opening for Engineer/Sr. Engineer – Project Management. BE Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering Candidates with minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering domain preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire project execution starting from receipt of raw material to delivery to customer.
  • Single point of contact for customer’s regarding FAI and production orders.
  • Represent Project updates during customer weekly/Monthly calls.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Track project progress, manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, team members, and management.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Motivate and manage the project team, resolving conflicts and ensuring collaboration.
  • System related activities like AS 9100, OHSAS MOS etc.
  • To be aware of ISO 14001 – 2015 standards.

Job Skills & Qualification

Education qualification: BE Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or above preferred

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Aerospace Engineering domain

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints to meet project deadlines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project for efficient project documentation and tracking.
  • Strong strategic planning and thinking skills to meet project demands and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Strong follow-through and comprehensive project management skills to ensure project success.
  • Deep understanding of the complete cycle of New Product Development projects.
  • Proficiency in identifying risks that affect supply and delivery, and developing mitigation strategies.
