The staff member will provide administrative and clerical support for Rehabilitation Services. Major duties include processing and preparing patient information, registering and scheduling patients, and processing patient payments. The front desk staff member arrives patients at our largest outpatient clinic with over 200 patients a day. The staff member supports and maintains therapist schedules.

Salary range: 25.60-36.33 Hourly

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records including scheduling and registration. EPIC experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of payor billing requirements and CPT-4, ICD-10 codes for Rehabilitation Services.
  • Working knowledge of computerized scheduling, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing or sitting during day.
  • Sufficient dexterity and strength to perform standard duties, including operating a computer and using a telephone headset. Ability to walk between areas of Rehab Services.
  • Healthcare experience required
