The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

• Write comedic material for publication, or for performances such as comedy routines and productions
• Work with clients, editors, publishers, or producers to discuss changes or revisions to written material
• Follow appropriate procedures in order to obtain copyrights for completed work
• Develop factors such as themes, plots, characters, settings, action, and dialogue

Ideal Profile

Requirements

• Previous working experience as Comedy Writer or related to this role
• With at least more than 2+ to 3 years experience
• A degree in English, journalism, or communications is an added bonus.
• Experience in successfully pitching ideas or selling scripts. Needs to identify prospects and pitch ideas on a regular basis.
