Trissential is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our client team in a hybrid role, with three in-office days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), based in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with senior project managers to drive the success of impactful projects. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities will be key as you help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with excellence. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior project managers to plan and oversee projects, maintaining focus on timeline, budget, and quality
  • Coordinate with stakeholders—including clients, vendors, and internal teams—to ensure clear communication and seamless execution
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status updates
  • Assist in risk identification and mitigation strategies, ensuring potential issues are addressed proactively
  • Support financial management tasks, including tracking project budgets and maintaining accountability
  • Contribute to resource allocation efforts and help streamline project workflows
  • Foster a collaborative work environment to encourage innovation and team contributions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-4 years of experience in a project management or related role
  • Understanding of project management principles, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to assist in creating and maintaining project plans and schedules
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members and stakeholders

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, business applications, or functional processes
  • Experience in managing documentation, monitoring risks, and supporting financial aspects of projects

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on specific objectives with some oversight
  • Proven success working within cross-functional teams and dynamic environments

Benefits

Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $91,000 to $104,000 annually depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
