ACP is a multi-segment digital lending solution covering not only Retail, Commercial, Corporate, FIs, and Sovereign segments but also other specific types of lending such as embedded financing, and Islamic finance.

Joining Axe Finance is to become part of a fast-growing fintech company with a footprint in 32 countries and more than 45,000 users of our technology around the globe. We are currently seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development in SEA Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline in assigned accounts in Vietnam. Based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
  • Provide strategic consulting support including business plan and sales strategy development.
  • Manage the entire presales & sales process of complex and long sales cycles.
  • Participate in and contribute to strategy, planning, marketing, positioning and selling of the software suite (investigation, qualification, exploring across assigned accounts.
  • Focus on generating new business, play an integral role in new business pitches and be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients.
  • Contribute to preparing RFP responses, client presentations and proposals etc.
  • Develop in collaboration with senior management, business plan and “Go to Market” strategy including planning for marketing events and related budgets.
  • Prepare reports and updates on sales pipeline and forecasts.
  • Provide account management support as needed and liaise with Portfolio Directors to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Ensure CRM is regularly updated with latest client developments.
  • Communicate proficiently in Vietnamese and English.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Degree business administration, marketing, engineering, or equivalent from a leading university.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales with Enterprise Software solution provider, preferably within the financial service sector.
  • Experience with long complex sales cycles.
  • International market sales experience, specifically in Vietnam, is mandatory.
  • Strong partnerships relationship within Vietnam in software development.
  • Knowledge in Credit Scoring, Risk Management, Loan Origination, Decision Engine and Collection, is preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of client relationship & account management.
  • Proficient in drafting business plans and sales forecasts.
  • Client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and mastery of relevant sales techniques.
  • Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking & time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment & across all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work independently and remotely
  • Excellent levels of Vietnamese and English (both written & oral).
