Job Overview
Podar Education Network is seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counselor at our Kankavli location. This full-time, junior-level position requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in guiding prospective students and parents through the admission process. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver quality education and shaping the future of our students.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience as an admission or education counselor, demonstrating expertise in student admissions and guidance (Mandatory skill).
- Prior experience of 1-3 years in a similar role, effectively counseling students and parents through the admission process.
- Proficiency in student counseling techniques and methods to support students effectively in their educational journey.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly and persuasively to students and parents alike.
- Capability to handle inquiries and provide relevant information regarding admission procedures and educational programs.
- Skillset to work collaboratively with teachers and administrative staff to ensure the seamless integration of new students.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to students and admissions.
- Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is typically required for this role.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Guide prospective students and parents through the admission process, providing them with necessary information and support.
- Evaluate and process student applications, ensuring compliance with the institution’s admission criteria.
- Organize and conduct interviews, tours, and information sessions for prospective students and their families.
- Liaise with different educational departments to facilitate the admission process and coordinate information sessions.
- Maintain updated records of student interactions and admissions status.
- Provide ongoing support to students from inquiry through to admission and enrollment.
- Promote and adhere to the institutions ethos, values, and regulations.
- Participate in educational fairs and community events to promote the institution’s programs and admission opportunities.
