Demand Planner – Supply Chain

Maybell Quantum Industries, Inc. is a venture-backed quantum computing startup focused on designing and building the hardware for quantum systems. Quantum computers are going to be as important to the next 30 years as the internet was to the last 30; our team is building the hardware to make them work. Maybell Quantum is seeking a motivated individual to join our Operations team. Our ideal team member is a hands-on individual who has experience working with and improving inventory systems and demand forecasting models. They are self-motivated with strong communication skills and can work well in teams and individually.
Responsibilities
- Translate demand forecasts into detailed production and material requirements, ensuring all critical components are available for builds.
- Collaborate with procurement to source materials and components in line with production timelines, balancing cost and lead times.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels to identify shortages or overstock and adjust plans to mitigate risks.
- Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks in the supply chain that could impact production schedules.
- Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with build priorities and customer delivery deadlines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related role, preferably in a high paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
Base salary: $80,000 – $120,000
