(Mid-Level) Operations Specialist

Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and driven Operations Specialist who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. You will be part of central team in Bucharest office, leading for Romania, Bulgaria and Greece bus markets. You will collaborate closely with your international peers, in particular with your counterparts in Berlin, Munich, Milano, Budapest, Sofia and Zagreb offices.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • You build, manage & nurture strong relationships with our bus operators, fostering collaboration and smooth operations
  • You train, support, and develop the operational counterpart and drivers of our bus partners towards our international quality standards
  • You onboard new bus partners to our platform & systems, as well as support business with opening new bus lines
  • You monitor and improve operational KPIs, ensuring operators adhere to our processes and standards, while identifying and solving risks
  • You drive the development and ensure implementation of quality/safety improvement measures to further improve customer experience and satisfaction
  • You travel across Romania & South Europe market to conduct visits/audits by gathering quality feedback from bus operators, stations & drivers
  • You collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Network Planning, Authorizations and other departments

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Organization, Tourism Management, Engineering, Transport or similar
  • 3-6 years of work experience in Operations (ideally in transportation, logistics)
  • Transportation knowledge is a strong plus
  • Good analytical & presentations skills to interpret and present data (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive to develop our business
  • Ability & resilience to deal with different stakeholders (business partners, bus drivers, station managers, or regional authorities) with strong communication skills
  • Trustworthiness, engagement, flexibility, as well as a hands-on mentality
  • Fluent Romanian & English, Bulgarian is nice to have
  • You are ready to travel in Romania (up to 50% of time) & occasionally abroad
  • Driver license is a must to have
