SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun is expanding rapidly in Indonesia and seeking an accountable and dynamic professional to strengthen Supply Chain department as Purchasing Executive.
The successful candidate will manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Indirect Materials (IM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, supporting the company’s business targets.
Responsibilities:
- Plan the requirement for designated indirect materials by sourcing, selecting and approving suppliers based on close dialogue with relevant user departments (including supplier audits when relevant).
- Ensure the best possible agreements for designated indirect materials categories by following the Tactical Purchasing Process and utilizing relevant contract formats.
- Maintain accurate documentations according to company guidelines.
- Implement the Category Management Concept for selected indirect materials categories.
- Report on agreed KPIs to Purchasing Manager.

What We Look For:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably which handling marketing and manufacturing procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in any major.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements.
- Proficient with procurement best practices and knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
