The Performance Unit in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet is seeking a Senior Policy Officer to contribute to our work supporting the accountability and transparency of Queensland Government. The successful candidate will join our small team driving the delivery of Government priorities through reporting on commitments and decisions in consultation with departments across Government.

This position offers a unique insight into policy and program delivery from a whole-of-Government perspective. We are looking for someone with experience analysing qualitative performance data, building relationships with key stakeholders, and producing high quality briefing documents who can use these skills to help shape the Government’s agenda.

The Senior Policy Officer position in the Performance Unit is responsible for both leading and contributing to reporting processes and briefing documents on Government commitments and Decisions. Analysis, planning and research form a key part of the role you will play in this team.
