Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager to lead our Renewable Energy segment. This role is pivotal in managing sales and distribution operations, developing a robust network of solar installers, and achieving regional growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and a proven track record in the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional sales strategies in line with business goals to expand the Solar Installer network.
- Sales Management: Set and achieve regional sales targets, managing a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue and growth objectives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals. Provide ongoing training and development to enhance their performance and product knowledge.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, track competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review team performance against KPIs, offering constructive feedback and strategic guidance.
- Product Advocacy: Promote new products and innovative sales techniques, aligning with market demands to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Event Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conventions, showcasing our products and solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4-6 years of proven experience in Solar Product Sales, with a strong understanding of the solar industry and its dynamics.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, forecast sales, and build a robust customer base.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in measuring and analyzing key performance indicators, with the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Commercial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of commercial aspects, including customer credit assessment and financial analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering in Electrical
- Preferred: MBA in Sales & Marketing.
Additional Requirements
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with different solar categories and market trends.
