About The Opportunity

To support this mission, we are seeking an Engineering Cadet to join our dynamic team. As an Engineering Cadet, you will work alongside our experienced engineering professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of areas such as project planning and design, asset management, site inspections, drafting, and infrastructure maintenance. This role provides a structured pathway for both academic and professional growth, offering practical learning opportunities, exposure to engineering operations, and mentorship to enhance your technical skills while pursuing formal education. You will play an integral role in delivering innovative solutions and supporting the development of critical infrastructure projects within our community.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are

  • Commencing their penultimate or final year of an Civil Engineering Degree in 2025.
  • Eager to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical, real-world settings.
  • Possess a strong sense of initiative, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Have some previous work experience in any field (engineering-related experience advantageous but not essential).

Remuneration And Benefits

Employment Type: Full time, Temporary (up to 2-year cadetship), 35 hours per week

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $1,142.50 to 1,194.60 (depending on depending on penultimate or final year)
