New Product Development -Mechanical Engineer
- Business Development- Getting RFQs from customers and converting it into business /PO.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design concepts.
- Participate in the completion of submitted RFI/RFP documents, bid coordination, prospect qualification, discovery and requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and design solution proposals
- Listen to customers needs and advise them on the best products.
- Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with new company products and industry trends.
- Support presales activities, proposal generation, product position, solution offering, and responding to technical clarifications in the tender.
- Support presales site activities, preliminary site visits, and coordinating trial test supports / preparation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, Tier 1 companies/suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Analyze and identify new business opportunities from the OEM customer base optimize profit and increase revenues.
- Design and implement new strategies to drive business growth in assigned sales markets.
- Manage the entire sales process, identify target customers, drive sales, close the sales process, and manage OEM sales.
- Control pricing, deal price, and other sales proposal activities.
- Identify new markets to expand our market base to increase revenue and profit generation.
- Involved in direct customer negotiations, negotiating contracts and agreements with customers and partners to ensure win-win outcomes.
- Analyze the market to determine the latest trends, customer needs, competitors position, and depth of customer base to redesign marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify customer requirements to translate them into product specifications. Accessing OEM portals for various inputs & data uploads
Application Engineer Qualifications
A Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree (B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent).
Prior sales experience would be beneficial.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
Outstanding research, multitasking, and organizing skills.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiating abilities.
