Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for event planning and a keen eye for detail, who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. As an Assistant Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings.

Pay Range: $950 – $1250 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure services and materials needed for events.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, equipment rentals, and catering arrangements.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and fulfill their requirements effectively.
  • Help create event schedules and timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Support on-site event management to ensure everything runs smoothly during the event.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning or coordination is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and vendors effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus.
  • Creativity and problem-solving ability to handle unexpected challenges during events.
