Key Responsibilities

Duties

As an Education Director, your role will encompass a blend of educational leadership and operational oversight. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering customized instruction through established programs and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Inspiring and motivating students to reach their academic aspirations.
  • Engaging with parents to discuss student progress and recommend tailored programs.
  • Evaluating and refining educational programs to ensure exceptional outcomes.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and guiding a team of part-time educators.
  • Maintaining active communication with students’ primary school teachers to monitor skill development.
  • Fostering a positive and solution-oriented atmosphere for students, parents, and staff.
  • Upholding a passion for education and exemplifying our organization’s core values.
  • Managing administrative responsibilities to facilitate the smooth operation of the center.

Required Skills

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Education or Teaching is preferred, but relevant experience in tutoring, coaching, or mentoring is also considered valuable.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in teaching or tutoring.
  • A natural aptitude for connecting with K-12 students and instilling confidence in their abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Candidates will be evaluated based on the following qualifications:

  • Preferably a degree in Education or Teaching.
  • At least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with K-12 students.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
